Sequan Monice Francis, 23, was arrested at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday by Connecticut State Police from Troop A in Southbury. She was stopped in a car that had been involved in a larceny in Danbury, police said.
Troopers discovered that Francis had active warrants against her from the Wilton Police Department, police said. She was suspected of committing crimes against a 61-year-old disabled Wilton resident, police said.
Southbury police took custody of Francis until Wilton officers arrived, police said. Francis was taken to Wilton, where she was ordered held on $10,000 bond.
She was charged with second-degree identity theft, second-degree larceny, illegal use of a credit card and illegal receipt of money, goods or services, police reported.
